Club Field Safety Rules

1. All fliers must have a current AMA membership. (Have I.D. card with you.)
2. Visitors must be accompanied by a member in restricted areas. (Flight line,
pits, ect..)

3. All children and pets must be under complete and continuous control of an
adult.

4. Transmitters must be impounded on the impound table, and equipped with
A.M.A.
frequency identification, and owners name. DO NOT turn on your transmitter if
your
frequency is not on the frequency board. Turn transmitter off
when you return it to the impound table.

5. All engines must be equipped with a safety nut or spinner and approved
noise reduction muffler.

6. Engines are not to be started anywhere but the pits and/or flight line.

7. Planes may only be launched from the designated flying stations along the
flight line.

8. There will be NO flying behind the flight line.

9. Dead stick landings have the right away and should be announced and
acknowledged by all active fliers on the flight line.

10. It is recommended that you have a spotter.

11. Anyone entering the active flying field to retrieve a plane must announce
his or her entrance and exit to the other pilots on the flight line, and should be
acknowledged by active flyers.
Active fliers will not fly low over the flight line until the pilot exits the field.

12. No one may fly while the field is being mowed or if anyone is working on
the active runway.

13. Limit flights to 15 minutes when there are crowded flying conditions.

14. No more than 4 aircraft in the air at one time.

15. Do not taxi in the pits, carry or physically push or pull aircraft to the flight
line.

16. No flying before 11:30 am or after dark.(EXCEPTIONS ARE ELECTRIC
AIRPLANES CAN FLY FROM 9:30 AM Till AN HOUR BEFORE DUSK)


We also follow the Official A.M.A. National Model Aircraft Code: Model flying
MUST be in accordance with this code in order for the A.M.A. liability
protection to apply.
This code is listed in all the Model Aviation Magazines and is posted at the
field.

NOTE: THESE RULES APPLY ALL THE TIME AND TO ALL PILOTS, NO
MATTER IF THERE IS 1 PERSON PRESENT OR 100 PEOPLE PRESENT. THEY
ARE IN EFFECT 365 DAYS A YEAR. NO EXCEPTIONS, EVER!
